If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see that I absolutely love doing new things (or in this case, repeating some of my favorite activities). My stories are usually filled with family outings and date nights with my hunny 🥰🥰. Ok so, on this particular date day (not date night, because we were out by 9:30am!), we decided to hang out at the gun range while the girls were in school.

The Facility

Shore Shot Pistol Range is everything you would expect a shooting range to be; a space with a lot of military looking paraphernalia and accessories, and lots of guns. It isn’t the largest range I’ve ever seen, but that’s not important right? The staff was kind, knowledgeable and attentive, and we didn’t have to wait long to be serviced. We signed our waivers, watched a safety video, chose our guns ( I chose a Glock 17, while Jamil opted for the .357 magnum), and we were ready to go! We were provided with ear and eye protection, then directed to our lane. There are about 10 lanes here, if I remember correctly. It’s mandatory that each lane have 2 people; you cannot shoot alone. Shooting takes as long as it takes for you to get through your ammo, we only purchased one box per gun. Between talking, taking pics, changing targets and taking more pics (LOL), it took us a little less than an hour to shoot through 100 bullets between both guns.

Shooting does something to me. It makes me feel powerful, fearless and confident. It also gives me the adrenaline rush I love so much!Don’t be surprised if you see a lot more Gun Articles here😉.

I used the Groupon I bought for about $30, which included one pistol or rifle rental and shooting range for two. The pistol or rifle had to be $15 in value. If you wanted a more expensive piece, you simply had to pay the difference. The groupon also came with a pack of 5 targets, but they have a variety of targets for purchase. Ammunition is not included with the Groupon, and has to be purchased separately. The cost of the ammunition depends on the gun you choose. Gun rental fees range from $15-$40.

If you’re anywhere around this location, definitely give them a visit!

Check out where we went to eat after the range😋.

Who else likes to shoot?! What’s your favorite gun? Let’s talk!
