Ever get your car cleaned surrounded by a few prehistoric creatures? I know you didn’t 😜, but now’s your chance! There’s a new car wash in town and I think your young kids would love it! Dinosaurcarwash, located at 822 E. St. Georges Ave. Linden, NJ, has a new experience for all of the kiddies to enjoy.
If you caught the last themed car wash we went to, you’ll see that they could be a lot of fun! This one, however, is more visual, as opposed to physical or participatory engagement, which might prove to be a bit less entertaining (especially for adults and older children).
GENERAL INFORMATION
Dinosaur Carwash is fully self service. Yup, you’ll vacuum & clean the inside of your car yourself…..every bit of it. All cleaning supplies are provided for you.
You’ll ride through while your vehicle is being washed. I love this, because we like to pretend we’re being attacked by an octopus when the mitters (or cloth strips) hit the windshield 😆.
PRICE
As part of their grand opening, everyone was offered a FREE car wash. Unfortunately, I didn’t see anything posted, nor did I ask, about the general pricing. SORRY! But their website does have information on membership pricing that you can check out, here.
Air for tires, is free.
THE TAKEAWAY
It’s a car wash, with dinosaur props. Nothing more, nothing less. Would I go back? No. Firstly, because there’s nothing captivating , for me, that would warrant more visits. So I don’t see myself going back, unless I happen to be in the area and just need my car washed or one of my children ask to go. Secondly, the flow of traffic at this location gets a bit frustrating, regarding their entrance & exit (You’ll better understand if you go). And lastly, I don’t like the idea of having to clean my car myself 😭.
It’s pretty cool for your dinosaur-loving children though. I think it’s worth visiting just once, for the sake of the kids.
If you have to get your car washed, your kids might as well be entertained, right?!
